Carel step by step.

Carel Ibérica in Castilian and Lion with Electrón Sanre.

The past days 3,4,5 and 6 May 2011, technicians of Electron Sanre (Company dedicated to the regulation and control of energy processes) came to the Carel Iberica`s central office to  attend the course "1tool" based on programming tool controllers "Carel" and delivered by Miquel Gudman ( manager Technical services Carel Iberica).
During the days of the course, they could learn how to use programming tool, as well as the possibilities and power of computers gives us this great brand.

pCO sistema consists of programmable controllers, user interfaces, software tools for the development of applications, and a series of optional boards to interface to the more
commonly-used Building Management Systems and a proprietary supervisory system.

CAREL, as well as offering its customers high quality and reliable products, has always paid special attention to the requirement of OEMs operating in the HVAC/R sector to interface the pCO sistema controllers with the more commonly-used BMS (Building Management Systems). Today in fact, with the expansion of BMS, the issue of communication between controllers made by different companies is increasingly important. CAREL has consequently developed compatibility with all the protocols that are emerging as the standards in HVAC/R and intelligent management systems, such as:

Modbus®, LonWorks®, BACnet™, SNMP.

From the viewpoint of communication between controllers made by different companies, CAREL also offers a wide variety of solutions for interfacing the pCO family controllers with fi eld devices such as valves, VFDs, serial sensors, Belimo actuators etc. In this way, the pCO sistema series controllers not only manage the individual units, but the entire
air-conditioning/refrigeration installation.

Programmable graphic display

The structure and the modularity of the pGD family displays always ensure the right solution for different requirements in terms of performance, cost
and appearance. The pGD2-pGD3 series is designed for high level applications that require touch screen technology combined with an elegant design. The pGD0-pGD1 series is focused on applications that require a good compromise between performance, competitiveness and appearance. The pGD-i series is designed for users who have pCOI interfaces and want to integrate the innovative pGD display without having to modify the general layout of the terminal. The pLD series (programmable LED display) is ideal for applications where the main requirements of the user interface are reductions in costs and the space required for installation.

Graphs

Using the pLAN network connection, pGD2-pGD3 can acquire the parameters, the important information and the status of the devices fitted. This data can then be processed and represented as graphs, for greater clarity in reading the trend of the main values in the application.

Icons

The EasyTools programming system can be used to quickly customise the user interface of the pGD2 and pGD3 terminals and introduce the management of images, animated icons and texts with non-proportional fonts in unicode format.

Touch screen

The touch screen function offers a user-friendly and simple method for moving between the different functions, making it easier to have an overall view of the unit or the area
managed by the pCO sistema family programmable controllers.
